Receive an eligibility decision
The center confirms whether your diagnosis and stage are suitable for particle therapy. Not every tumor type qualifies. A decision here is what unlocks a price.
Get a written quote
Ask whether the figure is treatment-only or includes hospitalization, imaging and nursing — at SPHIC that is the difference between roughly 278,000 and 310,000 yuan. Ask for the date it was issued and how long it is held.
Arrange visas, travel and accommodation
None of this is in the treatment package. Budget for a companion, and for a stay longer than the treatment calendar in case the plan changes.
Complete the course and plan follow-up
Because the rate is fixed rather than per-fraction, a course that runs the expected number of sessions does not cost more than quoted. Agree before you leave who conducts follow-up once you are home.
